{"id":1116,"date":"2021-09-29T08:31:50","date_gmt":"2021-09-29T08:31:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?page_id=1116"},"modified":"2022-06-01T14:23:06","modified_gmt":"2022-06-01T14:23:06","slug":"convocatoria-copy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?page_id=1116&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Copia de Convocatoria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<h1>\n\t\t\t\t\tCall for papers\n\t\t\t\t<\/h1>\n\t\t\t<p>Take part of TAEE<\/p>\n\t<h2>\n\t\t\t\t\tCall for papers\n\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Since 1994, the TAEE Conference has been the <strong>meeting place<\/strong> for professors of <strong>Electronics<\/strong> <strong>and Information and Communication Technologies<\/strong> from Spain, Portugal and Latin America mainly.<\/p>\n<p>Its objective is to<strong> improve teaching in the field of Electronics<\/strong>, promoting joint reflection, the creation of educational resources (mainly technological), the exchange of pedagogical resources and the cooperative generation of knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>Access <a href=\"http:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/TAEE-4-Call-for-paper-english_final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here the official &#8220;<strong>call for papers<\/strong>&#8221; document<\/a> of the XV International Conference of Technology, Learning and Teaching of Electronics.<\/p>\n\t<h2>\n\t\t\t\t\tSubmission process\n\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<h4>Participation in the XV TAEE International Conference<\/h4>\n<h5>1<sup>st<\/sup>) Submission of Extended Abstracts<\/h5>\n<p>An extended abstract (one page max) is required for participation in the conference. The abstracts should be submitted to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=taee2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TAEE2022 EasyChair<\/a> system.<\/p>\n<p>When submitting the extended abstract, authors should select the type of presentation (<strong>Regular Paper<\/strong>, <strong>Poster<\/strong> or <strong>Demo<\/strong>). Submissions involving Hardware or Software development as part of a pedagogical solution are particularly adequate for Demos and positively considered on this type of presentation.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, PhD students or Bachelor&#8217;s Degree Final Project\/Master&#8217;s Thesis students may also participate in the conference by presenting their thesis projects that they are doing or are going to carry out, highlighting their relationship with the learning of any of the conference areas. For that, they must select the <strong>doctoral<\/strong>\/TFG\/TFM <strong>consortium<\/strong> option in the submission platform.<\/p>\n<p>Extended abstracts must include the complete title, a text that summarizes the document structure and a summary of the most relevant results. It may also contain figures and references. The extended abstract is limited to a single page. You can download the template here (please, use a browser other than Firefox for downloading):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full paper or poster: templates in <a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?attachment_id=1263\">docx<\/a>\u00a0format and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?attachment_id=1264\">OpenDocument<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Demo: templates in <a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?attachment_id=1261\">docx<\/a> format and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?attachment_id=1262\">OpenDocument<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Doctoral consortium: templates in <a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?attachment_id=1279\">docx<\/a> format and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?attachment_id=1280\">OpenDocument<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The abstract should not include the authors name or filiation for blind review purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submitting the extended abstract can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?page_id=1127&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<hr \/>\n<h5>2<sup>nd<\/sup>) Submission of Full Paper<\/h5>\n<p>Accepted extended abstracts should then be formalized by the submission of a full paper into the EasyChair platform.<\/p>\n<p>The full paper should follow the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE format<\/a> in the A4 page size. The recommended size of each paper is between 4 and 6 pages, for all communication types, with a maximum limit of 10 pages. The submission should be done on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=taee2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EasyChair platform<\/a> up to the <a href=\"https:\/\/teruel2022.congresotaee.es\/?page_id=1127&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defined deadline,<\/a> in order to allow the review process, by the TAEE committees.<\/p>\n<p>It is reminded that author names or filiations should NOT be included in order to guarantee a double blind review process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important<\/strong>: To submit the full paper using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=taee2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EasyChair platform<\/a>, you have to <strong>update<\/strong> the previous submission. You can see a short (1 minute) and detailed video tutorial on how to do it <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/oDQQsFZlo5I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>3<sup>rd<\/sup>) Submission of Camera-Ready Version<\/h5>\n<p>Once the review process is finalized, the result is communicated to the authors, along with reviewer comments. Authors then have a deadline (<strong>May 15, 2022<\/strong>) to prepare the paper final version, where the reviewers&#8217; comments should be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n<p>The final version should follow the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE format<\/a>, using a A4 page size e including author name and filiation. Authors should check is the fonts are included in the PDF and make sure no page numbering or footers are included.<\/p>\n<p>Authors may choose that their paper is published in IEEE Xplore, being required that an English version is submitted (that can be additional to a Portuguese or Spanish version). Authors should make sure that the camera-ready version adheres to the IEEE conference format and is compatible with IEEE Xplore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additionally<\/strong>, the footnote\u00a0must include the following text:<\/p>\n\n<p>For authors employed by the <em>U.S. Government<\/em>, replace the content of the footnote with the following: <em>U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright<\/em>. For authors employed by the <em>Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia)<\/em> replace the content of the footnote with the following: <em>978-1-6654-2161-4\/22\/$31.00 \u00a92022 Crown<\/em>. For authors employed by the <em>European Union<\/em>, replace the content of the footnote with the following: <em>978-1-6654-2161-4\/22\/$31.00 \u00a92022 European Union.<\/em> In any other case (the most common option), do not replace anything and leave the copyright above.<\/p>\n<p>Contributions in Spanish or Portuguese, or those in English that do not opt for publication in IEEE Xplore, will be published in the book of minutes of the conference and housed in the digital repositories of the TAEE Association and entities with collaboration protocol. <strong>All types of contributions (oral communication, demo, poster, doctoral paper) can be published on IEEEXplore.<\/strong> For posters, the &#8220;presentation&#8221; will consist of hanging\/explaining the poster in the corresponding session.
